I love to give back to local animal rescues by photographing adoptable animals to help them find their forever homes (and also fostering myself!). This Coonhound family is available for adoption through One Of A Kind Pet Rescue and has had a tough journey. Their dedicated fosters drove all the way to Kentucky to rescue them – poor mom was just a skeleton and the puppies were very sick. Their fosters (along with a small army of volunteers) took care of everyone around the clock and now they are happy, healthy, and ready for adoption!  Momma is even getting a little chunky – yay!

These puppies (Duckie, Petrie, Hopper, Rooter, Little Foot, and Spike) were just a handful to photograph – so active, vocal, and full of attitude! It was such a treat to see everyone so healthy (and dare I say sassy?) and even Momma was feeling frisky and ran a few zoomies.
