Harley is a 10-year-old Yorkshire Terrier who is a perfect example of a small dog having a giant personality! She was filled with joy and sass and posed like a true professional during her at-home session. I connected with Harley’s humans through Secondhand Hounds; they were the lucky winners of my pet photography session during their annual silent auction. I’m so thrilled to be able to give back to local rescues while doing what I love, especially when it means photographing awesome dogs like Harley!
I had difficulty containing my own joy while photographing her romping through the yard. Her smile is infectious!

Although tough to choose, this might be my favorite image from their session – Harley decided to make a break for it during family portraits.
At the end of the session, we moved inside to cool down and capture a few indoor portraits.
What I loved about working with Harley is she always had to get the last word in – above is a perfect example.
