Ali | Twin Cities Senior Photographer

I met with Ali and her mother last week for a fun senior session around Mears Park in Lowertown, St. Paul.  Ali is a senior this year at Woodbury High School and is so sweet, easy-going, and was willing to do anything for a good picture (my kind of gal!).  Her combination of beautiful red hair, stunning eyes, and sparkling personality made for some awesome images. :)

Something Ali and I have in common: we get cold easily.  It was a bit chilly for her session, but she was willing to brave the cold (I, however, wore a coat the entire time).

It was a pleasure meeting you, Ali — good luck with the rest of your senior year!!

Fall Mini Sessions | Minneapolis Photographer

This past spring and summer, I have had the privilege of spending just about every weekend photographing amazing weddings with the wonderfully talented (and just plain wonderful!) Betsy Wall.  When we noticed a free weekend in September, we decided to team up yet again to offer super fun mini sessions at beautiful Minnehaha Park in Minneapolis.  How could we not?!  We are so looking forward to creating fabulous images together in crisp, fall weather!

Humans and pets are welcome!  We have morning and evening times available — please get in touch with Betsy at photos@betsywall.com to reserve your spot.

sweet brothers | minneapolis child photographer

When it comes to photographing young kids, I’ve had a revelation: it’s not that different from photographing dogs (and I mean that in the best way possible!).  We have fun, play games, run around, take mental breaks when needed, play with sticks (well, boys do, at least!), and usually results in a nap for everyone when the session is over.  Yup… not that different at all. :)

These cute kiddos are Dylan (above) and Aidan (below).  They are SUCH sweet boys!  I am good friends (and tennis nemeses) with their gorgeous mom, Elaine.  I used to work with Elaine, dating back to just before Dylan was born and she was very pregnant (I recall picking up dropped items for her frequently).

These two just LOVE hugs and kisses from mom — so cute!

We ended the session by finding and playing with some fun sticks, and of course, had to get some photos with them! :)
