Katie & Nate | Minneapolis Wedding Photographer

Where to begin?  Katie and I have been close friends since junior high school – we played violin together in orchestra starting in 7th grade and the rest is history!  We were partners in crime in high school – we had many classes together, carpooled, watched Jeopardy! after school while doing homework… together we survived both AP Chemistry and Physics!  Katie went on to become a chemical engineer and met Nate in college at the University of Minnesota.  I first met Nate at my own wedding four years ago and he won me over from the start – I am SO happy for these two!!  They complement each other perfectly and I can never stop laughing when I’m around them.  Even on their wedding day, they were relaxed, down to earth, and full of joy and laughter all day long.  They are also both huge dog lovers – theirs pups Biscuit and Franklin played a big role in their summer engagement session.

It was such an honor to photograph their big day – it couldn’t have been more perfect for them and their amazing family and friends.  On to the images!

Katie’s dad seeing her for the first time:

Their ceremony was at St. Mary’s Cathedral in St. Cloud.  Katie and Nate’s first look:

Not only are they a stunning couple, but they are some of the most intelligent people I know!

Katie’s adorable nephews were the ring bearers – Sam was pretty pumped because he got a penny from his aunt!

Their reception was at the Crown Room in Rogers.

Katie and Nate made apple butter for every guest for favors!  And each table had a delicious cake on it (I love cake).

The toasts were all very touching and absolutely hilarious.  Both sides of the family have pretty wicked senses of humor.

There was even a sing-along!

Congratulations from the bottom of my heart to Katie and Nate!  I am so, SO happy for you two!

Erin & Max | St. Cloud Wedding Photographer

Erin and Max were recently married on one of the most beautiful days of this summer!  They had their lovely ceremony at Munsinger Gardens in St. Cloud, Minnesota.  I have been friends with Erin since junior high school, playing in band and orchestra with her, along with some rousing piano duets.  I met Max for the first time on their wedding day, but could instantly tell they were perfect for each other!  It was so fun to see them get married and see how happy they make each other!  Their ceremony was incredibly sweet and very emotional (hardly a dry eye in the audience!).  Congratulations again to my friend Erin and new friend Max!

That one curl in the breeze is simply perfect.

Ah, married!  The tears of happiness kept on flowing for both of them.

When Erin’s parents got married, they had their wedding photos taken in this same exact spot:

Congratulations Erin and Max – your wedding made my heart happy!  Thank you for inviting me to photograph such a wonderful day!

Holly & Trey | St. Cloud Wedding Photographer

Holly and Trey were recently married in my hometown!  The ceremony was just down the road from my elementary school, so it was so fun to be back there photographing my former classmates getting married (I went to school with Holly since elementary school and Trey since junior high).  They were hoping for a snowy wedding and got their wish – the snow came a couple days early and stuck around just long enough for their wedding day. :)  I was lucky enough to have my good bud Chris Emeott shooting with me again – thanks, Chris!!

It was such a happy day and if anybody was stressed, they certainly hid it well!

We stopped down by the Mississippi river for some chilly photos before heading to downtown St. Cloud.

I loved their flowers!

The reception was held at the St. Cloud Civic Center right on the river.

The best cupcakes ever!

Trey and Holly know how to make an entrance…

…and they kiss like they mean it! ;)

The kiddos were dancing all night long – I predict they slept very soundly that night!

Congratulations again, Holly and Trey!  Thank you for having me photograph your big day – it was an honor!
