Every February, I have the pleasure of teaming up with Metro Dogs Daycare & Boarding to volunteer my time to benefit Safe Hands Rescue. Over 60 dogs (!) and their people had their portrait taken and over $2,000 was raised for the rescue. Here are just a handful of close-ups from the event—enjoy!

I had the pleasure of visiting the home of Grommit, a senior Pomeranian, and his younger brother, Mugsy the Pekingese. These two were absolute characters and just a joy to capture on film.
I absolutely love documenting the little details that people love so much about their pets, they are some of my favorite images!
Coco, Grace, and Marley… where do I begin? This trio was so adorable and well-trained and such a treat to photograph! Coco is sadly dealing with heart disease, so she was the star of the session, but was gracious enough to share the spotlight with Grace the Chihuahua and Marley the Pomeranian. We lucked out with an absolutely gorgeous day and all three pups were in great spirits.
We began the session indoors, before moving outside to photograph in the sunshine and fall colors.
I had a huge smile on my face photographing them while running!

Elsie (black) and Fritz are the two cutest little balls of fluff! I was warned ahead of time that Fritz is fearful of new people, but with some patience (and a few treats!) he was posing like a pro in no time. These two were such hams for the camera and had A+ head tilts!
