Sunny + Sophie | Minneapolis Pet Photography

If summer in Minnesota lasted year round, I would be a very happy photographer… especially with models this cute!  Sophie (a Bichon x Border Collie, on the left) and Sunny (an unknown mixed breed rescued from the side of the road!) and I spent a lovely evening in their beautiful yard.  They were both full of expressions and so much fun to photograph!  They especially loved the yummy treats I brought. 🙂

 Both Sophie and Sunny showed off their serious and goofy sides for the camera.

Max | Minneapolis Pet Photography

This is pretty much my favorite time of year for outdoor sessions – the green grass and trees, beautiful blooms, and golden light are tough to beat (although fall and winter sessions have their strengths, too!).  I had a perfect night for a session with my new friend Max, a Boxer x American Bulldog who was adopted as a young lad from Secondhand Hounds.  Max was so full of fun, energy, and expressions – he was a joy to photograph!

Max loves his toys… almost as much as he loves his mom and dad!

Those freckle-y lips are too sweet.

Daisy the Chocolate Lab | Minneapolis Pet Photography

This session with Daisy and her mom Tiffany has been in the works since December, when Tiffany’s mom contacted me for a gift certificate for a Christmas present.  It was a long wait to meet these two and we had to reschedule once due to rain.  We lucked out, though, and had beautiful blooming trees the night of our session.

Ms. Daisy Mae is such a photogenic, smiley Chocolate Lab and I had so much fun spending an evening out in the country with them.  Tiffany has had Daisy since she was a puppy and it was wonderful to capture their relationship.

Ralph & Pierre | Minneapolis Pet Photography

Ralph and Pierre are Cavalier x Poodle puppies from the same litter.  They were about 7 months old at the time of their session, but I couldn’t believe how calm and well-behaved they were (especially for puppies)!  We had a really fun time snuggling and taking photos in their beautiful downtown home.

So cute, right?!
