Warmer winter weather means nicer walks, but it also means muddy paws, legs, and bellies (which also means bath time).

A bit of unsolicited advice: If you are going to attempt to bathe and photograph your dog, you should not try to assume both roles without assistance.  You can probably imagine what happened after this first picture… sadly, I don’t have any images to document his sudsy tub escape, as I was fully-occupied trying to protect my camera from wayward drips.  The camera is ok!

Did you have any idea Ajax’s head is so small under all the fur?  I see it every bath time, yet it always comes as a surprise.  His ears look HUGE.And the post-bath crazies.  As soon as the bathroom door opens, he’s out of there like a racehorse exiting the starting gate.  He finds the closest toy and tears around with a wild look in his eye.  I usually try to stay out of his path, but I risked it to try to capture this relatively infrequent mental state.Hope you are enjoying your Sunday as much as we are!
