Perhaps you remember Chester and Coco from their session last summer? I am photographing the 2014 calendar for Secondhand Hounds this week and had the pleasure of photographing these two again. They nailed their calendar shot in minutes, so we had a little fun with some treat catching… enjoy!

Little Miss Juliet recently had the first part of her Then-and-Now sessions – she is just 3 months old now and we get to have another session when she’s bigger! She was recently adopted from Secondhand Hounds… by her own foster mom! Juliet is the sweetest puppy with the loveliest, most expressive eyes – I just couldn’t get enough of her!
She’s got the soulful puppy eyes down!

Last weekend we celebrated the 2nd annual My Furry Valentine at Metro Dogs Daycare and Boarding, benefitting Safe Hands Rescue. Over 50 dogs and their people took part, raising more than $1600 for Safe Hands! Thank you again to Metro Dogs for being wonderful hosts and everyone who came to support a great cause.
Here is just a tiny sampling of the amazing pups I photographed – I wished I could share them all! I will also be sharing more on my Facebook page – stay tuned!
I recently had a wonderful studio session with 6 amazing dogs – 3 German Shepherds, 2 Shelties, and a Lab. What a group! I was a little nervous before the session thinking about trying to photograph such a large group, but these 6 are impeccably trained and so well-mannered. After their group images, I got a little one-on-one time with everyone. Enjoy!

Tulla is beautiful – and talented! She showed off her ability to balance treats on her nose and catch them.
Senior Shepherd Xeek – I love his black mask (and his tongue is doing a nice “derp!“).
At only 4 months old, I was super impressed with little Indy… and, she’s got the cutest ears!
