Meet Roxy! She was adopted as a puppy from the Humane Society and is likely a Lab – Vizsla mix. Roxy had a rough 2011 which included two surgeries and numerous radiation treatments for a tumor in her leg, but you would never guess it after spending time with her! She is an extremely intelligent, happy, and cuddly girl who was an amazing model for her recent session.
Her home was filled with lovely light – probably my favorite was the directional light in this bedroom. I love the rich, deep colors – they complement Roxy’s coat perfectly.
Roxy now fills the role of “big sister” in the family to her little sis Jacey. Watching those two interact was so sweet and fun!
Roxy’s mom requested images of her in the bathroom – Roxy always waits on the bathmat while her mom gets ready each morning.
The image above Jacey’s crib was taken by her mom just before she was born. Roxy is always there to watch over her. 🙂 Jacey is pursing her lips in hopes of a Roxy smooch on the right.
Oh, Roxy, you are a doll and your family is so special! Thank you again for having me over for a wonderful session – I’m still recovering from all the cuteness!
